Drupal 6 & New Development

Submitted by bradfucious on Fri, 15/02/2008 - 08:34.

So, Drupal 6 has been released. And it's slicker than a greased up pig. The upgrade process from 5.x seems pretty straightforward, but they highly recommend backing up EVERYTHING before you even try this. So I'll have to wait until I get a chance to ask either Will or Mike to tar up my home directory and my DB...chances are, they'll be doing the same very soon, anyway.

Make Drupal URLaliasing Easier...

Submitted by bradfucious on Wed, 26/12/2007 - 04:14.

To all of my friends out there who are using the Droop (or Drupal, more properly) to maintain your personal sites...

If you have ever spent inordinate amounts of time trying to get all of your aliases set up right so that you didn't have any unsightly paths to pages, articles, feeds or tags, then you know what hell is. And it is not a pretty thing. God no! It's actually quite a handful. No more, I say to you!

This handy little module lets you customize paths for everything from content to nodes to vocabulary to user pages and more!
