I Hate Bob Dylan, But One Of His Songs Would've Made For A Good Title Here

Submitted by bradfucious on Thu, 13/03/2008 - 09:41.

So I've fallen into my old patterns...I'm not posting blogs; I'm not posting links; I'm not running my cron job to update the feeds; I'm a bad person. What can I say? Nothing. I'm lazy, and sometimes I just don't feel like being responsible for things.

I need to change that. I'd started out the year all "GTD! GTD!" and I was going to enhance my digital life and centralize everything and make it all wonderful and shiny and easy to use. Instead, I got bored with that process and moved on to doing other, more fruitful things: watching LOST.

Actually, that's a lie. 2008 has been busy. I have been getting things done. I just haven't been a dedicated blogger and all that. I'm knee deep in working on the layouts for a couple of sites for some people. I'm waist deep in planning a wedding (Sarah's up to her neck in it). And I'm busy taking care of other things.

I'm off all of next week, and I plan to make good on some things I promised to deliver on but haven't...

1) Finish those other sites
2) Start on our wedding site
3) Update Bradfucious.com to Dru6
4) Make getting to my other 'digital homes' easier
5) Write up my network setup (which is getting a new addition this weekend)
6) Write up my home media setup (which will be getting some new stuff soon)
7) Write up what I had done to get Bradfucious back up and running with minimal effort
8) Clean my office and prepare for it to *really* become my full-time office
9) Look at new desks

That's not it, really, but that's a start.

Also, I'll be making a purchase of a lightly used 12" Powerbook G4 tonight, as I have need of a new traveling machine and have no desire to reacquire my old HP from my mom - mostly because that would involve helping her to fix her computer, and I hate doing that kind of thing any more.

So my G5 tower will now have a baby brother. It'll be ever so cute!
